2022 Back to the Ionian Sea

Spring 2022 the idea was born, to give my dear friends from Krems University and their partners a taste of sailing. After some research we proposed the Ionian Sea as a destination, being in good memory from our trip in 2019.

Petra did a nice planning on the route, giving good understanding to the newbies on how such a trip would look like.and where roughly we will go. The original idea was to set sail for one week with Angelika, Jürgen, Gudrun and Herbert, which has been extended for Petra and I short notice - just to make more use of the flight and have another week on the boat, being strongly missing it.

Saying this, we finally made it to 268,95 nm, starting from and returning to Lefkas, visiting Meganisi, Ithaka, Kefalonia, Atokos and Kalamos. The team turned out to be a great sailing crew, living a right mix of joy, adventure and sailing which made this trip very pleasant for all of us.
