Cruise report
With-in all this COVID 19 measures, we decided to sick to the plan and do the cruise as originally scheduled. Travel ban and COVID measures on the return, made it more complex though.
We, 11 heads, boarded our Beneteau Oceanis 50 on September 5th in Sukosan and started our cruise next day, going north.
Each water-polo playfield on the way has been used for some practice. Twice we went for mooring to do some shopping for refilling our supplies. Nights we spent on anchor or buoy, enjoying the nice bays of Telašćica and Kornati national park.
Even if sailing was a new experience for all team members, beside Tobi and I, people adapted quite quick to the sailor habits and did enjoy sailing as is. Martin, chef of the galley, ensured, that no one was suffering hunger – from “Guten Morgen Sonnenschein” to sun set.
A great cruise, where I tried to introduce people to living on a boat and feel the nature - apart from tourist spots and on self-catering.
